Toyota Industrial Equipment (TIE) is the U.S. distributor for the world's best-selling brand of forklifts. During the past 40 years, Toyota has manufactured over one million forklifts worldwide. Since May of 1990, over 50,000 of these have been built in the U.S.A. by Toyota Industrial Equipment Manufacturing, Inc. (TIEM), located in Columbus, Indiana.
